Midlands Gold Traders — Legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 August 2026
This policy is a foundation. It explains, in plain language, what information this website collects and why. It is not legal advice and has not yet been reviewed by a qualified professional. The sections that touch on GDPR are marked [REQUIRES LEGAL REVIEW] and must be checked by a legal professional before reliance.
1. Who we are
This site is operated by Midlands Gold Traders (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are not a broker and we do not handle your trading funds. Trading accounts, deposits and withdrawals are managed entirely by Vantage under its own privacy policy.
2. What we collect
- Claim form fields. If you submit the claim form we receive the details you enter (for example name and contact details). These are used only to process and verify your claim.
- Attribution data. When you first arrive we store a small record in your browser (localStorage, key mgt-attribution-v1) containing the referral link or campaign you came from (such as UTM parameters and referrer). This lets us match you to the correct referral route.
- Analytics events. After you grant consent, we record anonymised page views and button-clicks (never sensitive form values — only the fact that a form was submitted).
3. Why we collect it
- To verify qualification for the community access offer (attribution and claim form data),
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it (analytics, only with consent),
- To meet our legal obligations as an affiliate.
4. Where data is stored
Attribution and consent records are stored in your own browser's localStorage and are not transmitted to us unless needed for verification. Claim form data is stored by our hosting provider. No payment or bank details are ever collected by this site — those belong to Vantage.
5. Third parties
- Vantage. If you continue through our referral link you leave this site and land on Vantage’s own site, where Vantage’s privacy policy applies. Referral attribution may be shared with Vantage for affiliate reconciliation.
- Analytics providers. Analytics providers are to be confirmed and will be named here once selected. No analytics runs until you consent.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
You may have rights to access, correct, delete or port the personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent for analytics at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.
7. Contact
Contact details for privacy requests are to be added (we currently communicate through the community Telegram channel only). Until a dedicated privacy contact is published, please use the community channels listed on our home page.
